What are some good sites as Etsy that sell clothing, handmade and handcrafted products of others. Besides Ebay?
I I started my own business designing dresses and other clothing and do it myself, I use this type etsy, but traffic is low. All heavy traffic sites that could used to sell retro-style ball / wedding / cocktail dresses? ONLY eBay, Craigslist, sites such as
Etsy Artfire is similar, but is considered by some as a bit more, and merchandise is more art, less art. The problem with Etsy is not low traffic, the problem is too much clutter and trash sold on the site. I'd say three quarters of Etsy list things not worth as outstanding trombone, and tennis balls painted "sculptures." Too many people sell too. If you want to make your merchandise stand out from the crowd, selling your site could be a better solution. You will not be competing with the largest number of other vendors could be selling products like you. There are many hosting companies that will register your domain name, web hosting and give you all the tools need to set up your own online store. Make your web domain name indicative of its products (for example, retro or classofthepast.com rita.com or something similar, so the people find your site and remember your website name.) spend a few dollars on advertising in places where fans gather feedback, and you may be more successful being independent of being another Etsy seller.
