Authorized User Alert
Some credit repair companies have been called intermediation authorized user "status credit card accounts. It comes to live to customers of another authorized user credit card to boost the FICO score customers. It is not illegal, but should be aware that the Fair Isaac and Company, in response to this practice, eliminate authorized user benefits from the new FICO scoring model. According to Fair Isaac, one of the three credit bureaus begin using this new scoring model in September 2007. The other two credit agencies adopt the new model in mid 2008.
The new trap identity
There is a little busy credit repair subculture that offers help to establish a new identity when applying for an identification number employer (EIN) that suggest that the use instead of your Social Security number. This surprised us! And a serious crime that can put in jail. Stay away.

IÂ'm going to digress a little from the category of credit repair scams and touch on two offenders the credit reporting industry's most egregious. Many people mistake size of honesty. Power may corrupt, and the journey to the dark side is often led by lawyers from the companies that constantly test the limits of consumer tolerance. Repair Credit can be quite difficult, but get fooled by the credit bureaus can be downright daunting. These are the criminals that we are on a daily basis.
False credit
Every day untold numbers of consumers are going in "True TransUnion Credit" website and pay for what they believe is your score. What you get are falsely called "TrueCredit" results that differ significantly from the FICO scores used by lenders. Here is (almost impossible to find) small print on the TransUnion website. "TrueCredit is not connected in any way with Fair, Isaac and Company, credit score here is not called FICO. The TransUnion credit ratings may not be identical in all respects to the credit consumption produced by any other company. "
No free credit report
Do you begin your recovery effort credit? You can get three free credit reports once a year from AnnualCreditReport.com. Dona't be fooled by freecreditreport.com Experian site! Here's the fine print: "When ordering your report for free by clicking here, you will begin your free membership in the Tri-monitoring AdvantageSM credit. If you do not cancel your membership within the 30 day trial, you are charged $ 12.95 for each month that you continue your membership. "And May is not so easy to cancel. The Office of Florida Attorney General lists the following questions in the investigation of Experian: "false advertising, deceptive domain name, and failure to honor cancellations, in violation of Chapter 501, Part II, Florida Statutes (Florida Deceptive and Unfair Practices Act Commercial). "
