What happens when your host has failed and your account is damaged or worst, the web host loses all?
Do you begin to mourn or angry at your web hosting company, and had no backup of the site? It is a very common problem, which is so unfortunate, because it can prevent with a little knowledge and action on your part.
You should not rely on Web host to make backups for you? Unless you specifically pay do, and even then they do not have to be there for you. You can not rely on actions to take.
Read the fine print of terms most servers Internet service and say they are not responsible for their data, even if it's your fault. Great is not.
So what is the solution. Easy. Backup your data regularly.
cPanel control panels for web hosting is most common among web hosting companies. So let me tell you how Websites save in your cPanel web servers is time consuming, but worth it.
a) Go to your dot com: 2082 or in the field dot com / cpanel and enter your user name. (replace the dot com with your website, of course)
b) Move the icon to save (to be different depending on your topic cPanel)
c) Click on the link to download the backup directory (which has all its files, including stored email)
d) Click on individual links to download database
e) Click on the links to the various download your e-mail filters or alias
Do not worry take full backup, It is especially useful for hosting providers, the backup directory is much better for food.
Now, do it once weekly, or monthly to your home directory (files) and each day to its database as Wordpress, Forums, Shopping Carts, Mailing Lists.
Want to make a copy up your database every day as they change regularly, especially now with the widespread use of blogging software like Wordpress. Its content is recorded online, and if you have no backup, then they have a local copy of its contents.
When you upload your website make sure you keep on your hard drive in a central location you can remember where to put, if need be recovered.
Keep at least 3 versions of backups in the sub directories date to recover from the backups before if any of them were corrupt or that contain files or databases broken.
Retrieve and Restore Copy up your website, simply reverse the process. In the cPanel control panel, under the save icon, you can upload your backup file or database file and restore it.
If all this sounds like a lot of work, do not forget to backup your websites, and actually go and download everything through various web sites (if have more than one), you're right. It's a big job, so I just anyone can do.
